Teacher Mini-Grant Update: Visit from author/illustrator David Biedrzycki

Sumo Kitties, Unicorns, and Disco Bears, Oh My!

Both KASD elementary schools had the privilege of participating in an author visit on March 18th with author/illustrator David Biedrzycki.

According to Mary Gruber, Elementary Librarian, who arranged this amazing opportunity, “We celebrated the work of our students throughout the buildings as they studied and showcased their findings in regard to his work. Mr. Biedrzycki shared his process with us along with new books he is working on.

“We would like to thank the Kutztown Area School District Education Foundation for generously providing us with a mini grant that enabled us to offer this amazing opportunity for our students while supporting our district’s literacy goals.”
