Teacher Mini-Grant Update: Playing with Newton’s Laws

Students in Dr. Mahoney’s physics class had a blast learning physics through games!

Students played popular board games and then applied physics concepts to explain how the games work. They created diagrams showing the forces acting within their games and wrote explanations connecting their observations to Newton’s Laws of Motion.
