Teacher Mini-Grant Update: Government Trip to Washington, DC
AP Government and Human Geography Students Visit Washington, DC
On Wednesday, May 21st, students from the AP Government and AP Human Geography classes embarked on an educational trip to Washington, DC. All students toured the Capitol Building and were able to attend sessions of both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
AP Government students met with Representative Madeleine Dean and discussed foreign and domestic policy. The AP Human Geography students also had the opportunity to explore the Library of Congress deepening their understanding of our nation's rich cultural and political history.
