Teacher Mini-Grant Update: Encore Performance
The Kutztown Area Middle School Encore teachers submitted a mini-grant application to inspire their students to aim for higher performance in Encore classes. Students who achieved at a high enough level were treated to attendance at a Reading Fightin’ Phils baseball game. What a difference this mini-grant made! Almost 200 students qualified to attend the baseball game!
On Wednesday, May 14, nearly 200 Kutztown Middle School students hit a home run by qualifying for the Megatime Award. It was a fun-filled day at the Reading Phillies game! Mrs. Sunday’s homeroom kicked things off in style by singing the National Anthem. A few lucky students even got in on the action by playing the slingshot game between innings, introducing batters in the stadium press box, and participating in the pre-game academic challenge!
Definitely an evening to remember!
