Teacher Mini-Grant Update: Steamroller Print Festival
We love seeing the impact of our donors and Mini‑Grant Program in action. Kutztown High School art teacher, Benjamin Hoffman, provided an update on this year's Steamroller Print Festival taking place in April:
“Pictured are our National Art Honor Society students, along with the support of our
Elementary & Middle School Art Teachers, assisting with the printing of our first run of
test prints in preparation for the Steamroller Print Festival, scheduled to take place this
April. The materials shown were generously donated by the Kutztown Area School
District Education Foundation….This project has been an ongoing effort since the last
mini-grant season and will come to full fruition this Spring with a day-long festival
involving students from across the entire [KASD] district. This is an exciting milestone
for our program, and we are deeply grateful for the continued support of the Education
Foundation….”
Students turn their visions into creations using the four screen-printing stations secured through this year’s mini grant from the Kutztown Area School District Education Foundation. “We are immensely grateful for your support!”
