Signage Space and Walkway Bricks Still Available! On Sunday, the Cougar Stadium and Track was dedicated, complete with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting by Mrs. Helen Breidegam, wife of the late Delight Breidegam, as the track was named the Timothy M. Breidegam Track.

Prior to the grand opening, the Kutztown Class of 2021 will host the fourth annual “Running of the Cougars” 5K and Fun Walk. The race will begin at noon, with prizes awarded in multiple categories.

The KASD Education Foundation Board this week announced the 2018 Distinguished Alumni of the year, Ms. Julie Stark, Kutztown Area High School class of 1979 and Mr. Keith Haring, Kutztown Area High School class of 1976. Mr. Haring is being recognized posthumously.
PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT: Unique opportunity to assist with the growth of the KASD Education Foundation, an alumni-driven charitable organization, formed to support the Kutztown Area School District and its students.
Students in the MS and HS can ‘check out’ a hot spot for travel, away games, competitions, etc. Families with students in the district can rent a hot spot from the district. Families that qualify can apply for scholarship courtesy to gain free access to a home hotspot.
This event showcased the district’s commitment to an integrated approach to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. The culminating showcase was the STEAM Factory, featuring hands-on stations, our art show, and centers including experiences in: virtual reality, motion capture, maker space and design, drone flight, coding and programming activities, design challenges, and multimedia experiences.
The Kutztown Area School District’s 5th Grade Science Fair, in its twelfth year, is still creating scientists and exciting the community. Twenty Science Fair projects created by thirty-one 5th grade scientists were on public display at the Kutztown Middle School as part of the district’s STEAM Factory.
