The KASD Education Foundation announces the addition of a new board member, Mrs. Katherine Metrick. Mrs. Metrick is no stranger to Kutztown, having been KASD’s Superintendent from 2012 to 2016, during which time she also participated in many of Kutztown’s School District, University, and community events.

Alumni from KAHS Classes graduating between 1955 and 2015 got together at the first Alumni Homecoming Reception last Friday evening.
The Kutztown Area School District Education Foundation’s Board of Directors has announced the 2019 Distinguished Alumnus of the year, Dr. Michael Karch, MD, Kutztown Area High School Class of 1987.
We still have bricks in all three sizes available to be purchased for the KASD Cougar Stadium Walkway. Consider buying a brick for a graduating senior, or an underclassman who will be playing a JV or senior sport in the stadium this Fall 2019 or Spring 2020.

The STEAM Factory, is an annual Kutztown Area School District celebration of all things Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. This year’s selection of art projects featured many unique uses of materials and concepts shared here.
The STEAM Factory, an annual Kutztown Area School District celebration of all things Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, was held at the Middle School on Friday, February 15th. The main attraction of the event was the 5th Grade Science Fair.
On September 7, the 1951 Boys Basketball Team was honored by the KAHS Athletic Hall of Fame. Mr. Carl Wuchter represented the team at the evening’s proceedings.
