Welcoming Back Alumni

It was a beautiful night for homecoming with no rain on Friday, October 6. As spectators entered the stadium, the first table they saw was The Education Foundation's chance to try for a Paw in One in Cornhole. We had many repeat customers determined to win a raffle ticket for one of 13 gift cards to local restaurants. It was a perfect night to meet alumni, make new friends, and introduce the mini campaign to raise money for our Innovative Projects. As one young man begged his grandfather for one more try at Cornhole, "Please, PopPop! It's for a good cause!" A fun night for all of us.

Another highlight of the evening was the Inspiration Garden dedication and ceremonial ribbon cutting performed before the football game.  The informational stands were installed in September which will contain alumni quotes, stories and accomplishments, local history, and links to the Foundation website to provide more depth to the space.  The amazing mural and beautiful paver sidewalk, plants, and low-voltage landscaping lights create an atmosphere where people can reflect upon the life and history that Kutztown has to offer. With a quick turn to their right, viewers were able to see the newly installed plaque on the majestic stone at the Braucher Court. The installations of the Inspiration Garden and the Braucher Court provide a meaningful location for students, alumni, and community members to visit.

A Big thank you to D.K. Photography for your time and talent with capturing the beautiful photos of our Education Foundation Events.
